Jeanie Johnston - a truly memorable event!

Our family visited the Jeanie Johnston in Bristol, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Prior to going on the sailing ship we were told about the saga of the Irish emigrants on their voyage to the United States. Aboard the ship we all truly felt as thought we were there. The replicas of the emigrants looked very realistic. The ship itself was beautiful! The docking of the Jeanie Johnston in Bristol was further enhanced by the Irish festival going on at the time, along with Bagpipers and Irish ballads. I took quite a few pictures and here are a few.

This was a great event and I am recommending it to all my friends.
    Greetings from Bonnie Claire
