Jeanie Johnston visits Burlington City, New Jersey

Jeanie Johnston will be docked in Burlington City, New Jersey from Monday 23rd June, after sailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ship will be open to visitors from Tuesday 24th June and Wednesday 25th June and will depart for Bristol, Pennsylvania on Thursday 26th June. Burlington City is on the Delaware river, 15 miles south of Trenton, where the Jeanie was scheduled to dock, but repairs to the harbour have meant a change of venue.

Dates the ship is open to visitors and locations:

  • Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th June - Riverfront Promenade on High Street.
  • Access to the ship is from the Riverfront Promenade, with buses available to transport guests to the ship and back. There will be exhibits located at the Promenade as well as Jeanie Johnston merchandise and ticket sales.

    Parking is adjacent to the Waterfront Promenade at the foot of High Street in Burlington City. There is ample parking for buses, cars, etc at no charge.

    Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit #5 (Burlington/Mt. Holly) Burlington. You will be on Route 541. This road will lead you to Burlington City. Follow Route 541 past Route 130 where it becomes High Street. Stay on High Street until you reach the Riverfront Promendade. This will lead you to the parking area at the Promenade.

    Open for guided tours daily from 10.30am to 6pm.

    Admission charges:
    $7 for adults
    Children free
    $15 for family ticket (2 adults and up to 4 children)
