Tom Kindre, who at 81 was the oldest man to cross the Atlantic on a square rigger, and the only American onboard for the duration of the voyage, sent regular reports direct from the ship. His diaries make insightful reading and we look forward with great enthusiasm to publication of his book about his experiences with the project, later this year.
