Jeanie Johnston visits West Palm Beach, Florida

Jeanie docked at the Maritime Museum, Peanut Island, West Palm Beach on Tuesday 15th April, at the end of her historic trans-Atlantic voyage from County Kerry in Ireland. The ship will be open to visitors from Saturday, 19th April to Sunday 27th April, and will depart for Savannah, Georgia on Monday 28th April.

In addition to tours of the Jeanie Johnston, a variety of activities will take place while she is in port in West Palm Beach. Boat tours of the bay and exhibitions in the Maritime Museum can be enjoyed and a boat house has been converted into an Irish pub, serving authentic food and beer.

The ship will be open to visitors as follows:

  • Saturday 19th April 2003 - Sunday 27th April
    10:00 am ­ 4:00 pm daily

    Admission charges are:

  • $7 for adults;
  • $5 for seniors and children 12 and under;
  • Family packages for $20
