  • "I had the good fortune to be able to volunteer as a tour guide on the Jeanie for a week during her stay in Philadelphia, and all I can say is--what an amazing ship and crew. To those anxiously awaiting her in upcoming North America ports: she is well worth the wait. I enjoyed every minute, and only wish that I could volunteer all summer. To everyone who has played a role in her recreation--thank you so much."
    Bridget O'Brien, June 2003

"My husband, Don, and I visited the Jeanie Johnston when she was docked in Florida. It was absolutely remarkable. She is beautiful, and the crew was delightful. It was so hard to imagine what the immigrants must have experienced..., and we felt honored to be able to see her in person. Thank you to everyone who made her voyage possible."
    Rebecca Duffy, April 2003
