Jeanie Johnston will arrive in Montreal City, Canada on Thursday 18th September after sailing from Miramichi, New Brunswick.

Jacques Cartier Pier, Old Port of Montreal

  • Friday September 19th through Sunday September 21st
    10.00am to 5.30pm

    Admission charges in $CND:
    $9 adults
    $6 for children over 10 and seniors
    $20 family (2 adults and 2 children).

    Schedule of Activities

    An exciting programme of Celtic music and dance is planned for the 4 days that the ship is in port. A flotilla of power and sailing vessels will greet the vessel in the St.Lawrence and accompany it to the Port. Québec Premier Mr. Jean Charest and Montréal Mayor Mr. Gérald Tremblay have been invited to preside over the Opening Ceremonies.

    Friday, Sept. 19
    8:00pm La Bottine Souriante - a free outdoor concert by Québec’s "living legends” – “a homage to tradition with a dash of jazz, salsa and pure folk”

    Saturday, Sept. 20
    1:30pm Celtic Band (TBA) free outdoor concert

    Saturday, Sept. 20
    8:00pm Celtic Extravaganza - free outdoor concert with some of Montréal’s best Celtic groups

    Sunday, Sept. 21
    1:30pm Celtic Grace Dancers with Les Pieds Légers.
    Ireland meets Québec in a free performance by some of Montréal’s best known dance troupes

    Monday, September 22
    Farewell as Ship sails to Gross Isle and Quebec City.
