Jeanie Johnston will dock in Washington DC on Wednesday 28th May, at the end of a nine day voyage from Charleston, South Carolina. The ship will be open to visitors from Thursday, 29th to Sunday 1st June, and will depart for Baltimore, Maryland on Monday 2nd June.

Thursday morning, 29th May will see a greeting ceremony for the ship, by Tourism Ireland, at which the Irish Ambassador will be the guest of honour. IFI representatives and Mr. Ed Gillespie will also be attending. On Thursday night, the Irish Ambassador will host a reception for crew and trainees at the Embassy.

    The ship's location is on Metro's Green Line - Waterfront-SEU Station
    Metered street parking and public lots available.

    Open for guided tours daily from 10.30am to 5pm.
    Admission charges:

    $6 for adults
    $4 for seniors and under 12's
    $15 for family ticket (2 adults and up to 4 children)
